Community Support Keeps Pap Surf Club Thriving

We are incredibly grateful to share that our club has recently received a number of generous grants, helping us continue to offer high-quality programmes while keeping costs as low as possible for our families.

A heartfelt thank you goes to The Lion Foundation, Four Winds Foundation, New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT), One Foundation, and Grassroots Trust. Their support makes a real and tangible difference across all areas of our club. Funding from these organisations contributes to essential operational costs, including administration, coach wages, pool rescue lane hire, and our much-loved ocean camp.

These grants are more than just financial assistance — they are an investment in our community. They allow us to provide safe, accessible, and engaging opportunities for our members, from our youngest participants learning the basics to those developing advanced skills and confidence in the surf.

By helping to cover key programme costs, our funders enable us to keep fees affordable and ensure that more families can participate, regardless of their circumstances. This support truly keeps the club ticking and strengthens our ability to serve the community we care so deeply about.
