Pool Rescue Team Wins in the Bay

With the biggest team entered it’s no wonder our Pool Rescue athletes smashed it in the pool at last weekend’s BOP Pool Rescue Day at Baywave. Well done to everyone who took part - from our youngest under 11s to the experienced Masters. You all did Pāpāmoa proud! 

Skill development was a priority for this first event of the season and with swimmers in every category, the team learned a lot. Thank you to all the volunteer officials, helpers and water safety crew who made it all happen. 

The training continues now as the team start to refine their skills in the lead-up to the Eastern Region Pool Rescue Championships in Hamilton on 26-27 August 2023.
