Blood Drive at Papamoa Surf Club Saves Lives
309 lives have been saved and improved thanks to our community getting behind this week’s Blood Drive at the Papamoa Surf Lifesaving Club.
New Zealand Blood Service Donor Relations Manager Scott Pearce says they collected 103 blood donations over the two days.
“32 of the donations were brand new first time donors, which is beyond amazing,” he said.
The feedback from those who came to donate was that it was a wonderful location to admire the view of the Papamoa coastline whilst doing something good for the community.
A huge thank you to everyone who took time out to come and donate blood.
The next blood drive at the Papamoa Surf Club will be on the 9th and 10th February 2022.
