NZCT Help Keep Kids in Sport

We’d like to say a big THANK YOU to the New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) for their recent grant fund which is going towards our Junior Head Coach's salary. 

Junior Head Coach Jack Bullock looks after all our surf sports kids aged 10-13. These kids are in our Oceans Development and Oceans Athletes programmes. During the summer, he does hands on coaching throughout the week, as well as planning for carnivals and events. Jack works hard to make it fun for our kids and keep them engaged as they head towards the senior squad and ultimately into lifeguarding. 

Off the beach, Jack is also responsible for the club's Pool Rescue Programme which keeps our members fit and active during the cooler winter months. We have a big group of members from our most junior U10s to our adult Masters doing Pool Rescue this year.
