Surf Officials Needed for the 2022/2023 Season!

Have you been thinking about how to support the Pāpāmoa Surf Club this season and get more involved? Becoming a surf official is a great way to give back to the Club and get a front row seat at your kid’s events.

For every 10 athletes we send to a carnival, we need at least 1 official. Being an official is a pretty straightforward role and you don’t need to be a lifeguard or a coach. Most events provide officials with snacks and lunch and it’s a great way to get a better understanding of the rules of the sport.

The Eastern Regional would like to get an idea of who is available to official at events this year. Please CLICK HERE to complete a survey and express your interest. This isn’t a commitment to attend but allows for better planning by the event referees, management and allows Surf Official development opportunities for members.
